Beauty Product of the Week: Mirai Clinical Purifying & Deodorizing Hair Shampoo

On January 28, 2017

Mirai Clinical, the Japanese natural skin care brand based on the holistic approach “Less is More,” introduced the Mirai Purifying & Deodorizing Hair Shampoo with Japanese deodorizing persimmon earlier this year. The formula naturally eliminates scalp and hair odor without harsh chemicals and promotes healthy hair growth.

Mirai Clinical introduced “Less is More” skin care in 2014, and now introduces the “Less is More Hair Care” concept by advocating the idea of low-poo, a.k.a. low shampoo. Their shampoo is formulated to help your scalp get used to the idea of low shampoo naturally.

The persimmon fruit has been a Japanese prize for centuries due to its many beneficial uses, including as a natural deodorizer. Geishas would put persimmon in their bath for its antiseptic and deodorizing benefits, and clean their kimonos with persimmon juice to preserve the vibrant colors and protect it from bugs.

As a socially responsible brand, Mirai Clinical collaborates with the Japan Cosmetic Center (JCC) in Karatsu City, Japan who developed a natural foaming agent from otherwise wasted pine needles after they are cut, so they don’t have to use chemicals for foaming. JCC is a non-profit organization that helps Japanese companies to introduce good quality cosmetics globally. Mirai Clinical’s Purifying & Deodorizing Hair Shampoo is available at $35.00
