With the Fashion Weeks in New York, London, Milan and Paris being set to kick off again in September 2015, it’s now time to start discussing the exciting new trends set for fall 2015. Accessories were a major hit at last season’s Fashion Week, and handbags definitely didn’t go unnoticed – in fact, they very often stole the show. From the old, iconic names to new designers bursting with fresh and exciting ideas, the handbag trends set to be showcased on the runways won’t disappoint – let’s have a look at some trends we can’t wait to see.
Fur Bags
Although this trend is unlikely to hit off until the temperatures drop, fur coated bags are set to be a huge hit on the catwalks at Fashion Week. Whether it’s a bag with a fur trim or completely covered in fur, these soft, fluffy numbers will dominate handbag trends throughout fall and winter.
Boxy Handbags
When it comes to handbags this season, square is most definitely in. Louis Vuitton have produced some amazing make-up suitcase style handbags that will totally steal the show at Fashion Week, and it seems that this will be one of the top trends come this fall and winter. With different boxy styles – from harder, more ‘box-like’ bags to softer bags with four defined corners, there’s also a great range to choose from when it comes to this edgy trend.
Cross-Body Bags
Cross-body clutch bags are definitely in this season and are set to be one of the top trends at Fashion Week this September – wonderful news for those ladies who like to have that little bit more security and convenience when out, but still look fashionable and trendy. These monogrammed clutches and cross-body bags by I Flew The Nest Products are set to be bang on trend this fall.
Reptile Skin and Animal Prints
It’s now just the clothing and footwear trends that will be shown at Fashion Week that are likely to showcase a lot of reptile skin and animal print designs, as it’s a design trend that has taken over many of the handbags by top designers as well. With big names such as Elie Saab, Prada, Nina Ricci, and Hermes sporting this trend, it’s definitely set to be a big one this fall.
Fringes
Fringes and tassels are a trend that’s almost certainly coming back round from the 1970’s and fringed handbags are definitely set to make a massive comeback this fall. With a number of big name designer handbags sporting fringes and tassels – from the signature suede Chloe saddle bags coming back round again to funky numbers by Moschino making bold statements, the fashion of the 70’s is definitely not outdated any more.
