I have been doing weekly detox baths (1 cup baking soda, 1 cup epsom salt, 1 tbsp coconut oil and few drops lavender oil) and I feel so refreshed at the end of the week and ready to start anew. Here are some other great ways baking soda can be used in your beauty routine:

  • Use as a body scrub. Mix three parts baking soda, one part water, and one part ground oatmeal.
  • Use as a hair clarifier. Sprinkle a quarter-size amount of baking soda into your regular shampoo. Hair will be shinier and more manageable!
  • Use as a dry shampoo. Just add a sprinkle, run hands through your hair and brush out.
  • Use as a facial scrub. One part water to three parts baking soda equals a great exfoliant for your face.
