I’ve never painted anything in my life.
Not even a wall.
So, it seems like a great idea to have my first painting experience at Muse Paintbar in Tribeca.
What could be a better option for a New Yorker than combining painting instruction with a wine bar and snacks?
Muse Paintbar is place for friends to learn, laugh, relax and celebrate with skilled painting instructors in a warm and inviting space. (They stress over and over again: no judgement..and check out their smiling faces below)
We did Muse as a girls night out, but it is perfect for an after-work de-stressor, birthday celebrations, bachelorette parties, corporate team building, or even a first date.
To participate, guests simply visit musepaintbar.com, click on Tribeca’s page, and scroll through the online calendar to view each evening’s one or two different paintings, and register online. Classes average $39 per person, but prices may vary for weekend sessions, fundraisers, special events or special sessions. The company donates five percent of profits to local causes and partners with local suppliers.
After sign-up, guests simply need to show up for fun. Muse Paintbar provides expert instructors, acrylic paints, a series of brushes and a canvas, and an apron. Guests do not need any artistic background or skill, as instructors guide them stroke by stroke from blank canvas to finished masterpiece, ready to display or gift. While painting, guests can also enjoy a great selection of food, wine and beer.
Muse Paintbar is open to the public and to private parties on a space available basis. Reservations are suggested as sessions sell out quickly. Muse also offers gift certificates, private instruction, and private party paintings geared toward the company or guest(s) of honor. For details, contact Muse Tribeca at 646-760-6100 or Tribeca@
