Are you shopping for someone who is a minimalist? Keep in mind that the best gifts are experiences , something indulgent, sentimental, heartfelt and/or consumable.

Here are a few of my favorite gifts:

Tenth Street Hats

I  love this affordable hat company based in California. They have an amazing collection of felt hats for women in a variety of different styles to fit any personality. Pictured is the Avola and I  currently received the Ella in gray. If you are looking for a versatile travel hat, I  love the Argos

Candles

Candles are always a great gift, and I love classic luxury candles from Diptyque or Nest.

Wine

Who doesn’t love a great bottle of wine?

Ancestry.com

I  recently did a DNA test with Ancestry for the health aspects, but found myself immersed in the online family trees and “matching” hints. With the help of my parents and Ancestry, I  traced my lineage back 7 generations.

A life changing book

A gorgeous coffee table book from Assouline, Tachen or an art gallery makes a stunning gift, as does a book that will change your life ( mine list includes The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People, Love in the Time of Cholera and Jack Canfield’s The Success Principles.

Experiences

Some great gifting experiences:

  • Meditation class certificate
  • Spa certificate
  • Theater tickets
  • Sport tickets
  • Museum memberships
