I was lucky enough to get an invite from the Bermuda Department of Tourism to attend a luncheon at The James Beard House. The James Beard House is sort of known as the “Broadway” for chefs- as it is the top of the line for anyone in the culinary world.
The house itself was built in 1844 and is decorated with relics of the late legendary cookbook author James Beard. I loved the history of the house, and the fact that over 100 years people were doing the exact thing we were doing today.
